Is it better to attend church unwillingly than not to attend at all? 25. If a church has just one service, should it be at 10 a.m. Sunday morning? 26. Should a crying baby or child be taken out of the worship service? 30. Should everyone stand or sit at the same time? Is the normal style of worship in which a pastor preaches and an organist plays music, with perhaps an elder praying and a soloist or choir singing the best way to conduct worship, or would it be better to somehow have more of the congregation participate more actively? We won't discuss this on the 23rd, I think, but it is a good question. The Quakers have, in effect, lots of short sermons by various people; at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church we have had "Seasons of Prayer" and "Testimonies of God's grace"; pentacostals have "prophecy"; the Church of the Good Shepherd has had hymn requests from the congregation.
