Progress with Dreamhosters and WordPress
I’ve got my Dreamhosters account set up, and it does seem superior to Powweb. It has better documentation and allows telnet access, so I can use unix commands as well as FTP. Also, it allows easy installation of WordPress, and I’ve transferred this blog over to
http://www.rasmusen.dreamhosters.com/wpress/ as a test. I’m still having trouble setting it up under the address http://www.rasmusen.org/x though, and I’m not sure about the archives working, so I’ll try posting identical entries at both sites for a while. WordPress seems definitely superior to Movable Type software, too, both in ease of use and in features.
