The First Day of Christmas
Every year I send out with my Christmas cards a list of good things I have come across during the year. I'll post these one by one here.1. The Companion Bible, a study Bible by E.W. Bullinger (1837-1913). Scholarly and opinionated, with lots on the Masorah and acrostics. Sometimes wrong, but always clear. The 198 appendices, essays on topics such as "the genitive case" or "words for repent" are up on the web, as is a sample page.
